Participate in planning and evaluating patient needs based on behaviors within an adolescent male crisis stabilization unit. Provide direct patient care and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment under the direction of a professional nurse.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while a human services degree or direct care experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must be available to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
The Adolescent Male Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 23 bed unit for the multi-disciplinary assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, and stabilization of adolescent male patients. Discharge planning emphasizes movement to day hospital or outpatient care as soon as the crisis has been stabilized.
This is a part-time, on-call position that requires availability to work 12 hours shifts.
The pay range for this position is $19.06 minimum to $22.95 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
