One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CV Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease.Every day, you’ll perform cardiovascular tests utilizing basic knowledge and skills as requested and participate in departmental support activities.To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging.
This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
Assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic cardiology testing.
Transports patients as needed.
Accurately and completely documents procedures including all pertinent clinical manifestations.
Provides Pre- and Post-test instructions to patients and families.
Organizes and maintains test tracings and other records.
Maintains department equipment and notifies manager of needs.
Job Requirements Required Associate Science Degree and/or certificate of Achievement - Cardiovascular Technology Program.
Four (4) years experience in Cardiovascular Technology or related field, upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Requires an Associate Science Degree or certificate from a Cardiovascular Technology Program and Basic Life Support certification. Candidates must have at least four years of experience in cardiovascular technology or a related field.
