Job description

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The Franciscan Health Crisis Clinician I (CCI) is a position responsible for completing a biopsychosocial assessment, to provide a diagnostic impression to the on-call psychiatrist or physician.
The CCI will require a working knowledge of diagnostic criteria, as provided through their master level education, within behavioral healthcare for all age groups, pediatric to geriatric.
In some instances, assessments may require a licensed clinician's approval.
The CCI will be the main source for coordination of care with referral sources, Emergency Department, admitting unit, and the patient's families.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Working hours options: Fri, Sat and Sun 5pmto 5:30am or Sat, Sun and Mon 5pm to 5:30am.
Position is in-person and not remote.
Assist in the execution and completion of Emergency Detention Orders.
Obtain and document an accurate psychosocial assessment in the electronic record, while simultaneously informing the psychiatrist on-call or physician with information pertinent to the safety and health of all involved.
Implement patient dispositions, as ordered.
Complete paperwork and forms, including pre-authorization for admission.
Answer telephones and return voicemails in a timely manner.
