The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct resident care and treatment as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. They are responsible for maintaining compliant documentation, educating families on home exercise programs, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team for discharge planning.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program and a valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Proficiency in healthcare software like Net Health and Point Click Care, along with CPR certification, is required.
