Perform medical radiologic imaging studies, including X-rays and fluoroscopy, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality imaging and maintain a safe, caring environment.
Duty Percent of Time Collaborates with hospital leaders, physicians, and other Allied Health professionals to provide excellent imaging services through development of ongoing quality improvement practices. 5% Provides personal pediatric care, recognizing the worth and dignity of each patient. The radiographer will provide the patient care essential to quality radiologic exams. pervasive Prepares patients for radiologic procedures by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into a specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors. 10% Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures, developing radiographs, observing radiographic results, and making necessary adjustments. 5% Operate and maintain mobile x-ray imaging services 70% Work closely with Speech Language Pathologists, Radiologic Services partners, outpatient clinic providers, and the Radiology Medical Director to provide Fluoroscopic imaging for swallow studies and other related fluoroscopy needs. 5% Other duties as assigned 5% Qualifications: Education: Associate’s degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field Experience: Experience working with Pediatrics preferred, but not required License/Certification/Credential: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification & BLS Preferred About UsOur work begins where we are all equal - at the heart.
