Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments and deliver premier treatment for patients at your designated clinic(s).

Maintain consistent patient engagement by adhering to your schedule and ensuring availability during clinic hours.

Achieve or exceed productivity benchmarks established by our forward-thinking Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Behavioral Health.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of innovative clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols.

Provide phone support during clinic hours and extend your commitment beyond standard hours when necessary.

Collaborate creatively in the development of patient education materials to enhance patient knowledge.

Showcase leadership by effectively supervising healthcare students with distinction.

Uphold high standards through an established clinical quality assurance program.

Facilitate seamless care coordination with non-physician providers to ensure top-tier psychiatric treatment.

Engage with colleagues, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance collaborative care.

Participate actively in meetings and contribute to our Performance Improvement Program and peer reviews.

Tackle diverse and exciting challenges as they arise, leveraging your expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess Medical Doctor credentials with Board certification (or in progress) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with an active Texas License.
  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards as per your professional licensing entity's Code of Ethics.
  • Commit to ongoing education to maintain your professional license in optimal standing.
  • Maintain exemplary standing with your professional licensing board, demonstrating excellence.
  • Credentialed and privileged according to Legacy's leading standards and practices.
  • Expertise in navigating Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement programs.
  • Exhibit cultural competency and sensitivity to effectively serve diverse populations.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with staff, community, and the broader public.
  • Excel in multitasking and prioritization, even under pressure, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Your positive mindset and resilience make you a pivotal member of our innovative team!
