Dietitian - Eating Disorder Program - Per Diem

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Experience in a health care facility preferred and experience in working with eating disorder patients is strongly preferred; however, education in the field may be accepted in lieu of experience.

Licensure

• Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice.

• Requirements: CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire. Completion of Fremont Hospital’s non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
