The Lab Tech performs moderate and high complexity testing according to CLIA standards, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and coagulation testing. They are responsible for keeping detailed records of tests performed and reporting results to authorized personnel.
Candidates must have qualifications as MT, MLT, MLA, or CLA, along with good vision and verbal skills. Experience is preferred, and the ability to perform well under pressure is essential.
Performs moderate and high complexity testing per CLIA standards. Performs hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and coagulation testing to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs quantitative and qualitative procedures. Keeps detailed records of all tests performed and reports to authorized personnel. Will be required to work independently and perform phlebotomy on ER, inpatients, and outpatients. HOURS: Full-Time, 72 hours per pay period, night shift. Will be included in the weekend, holiday, and on-call schedule. Must be willing to be flexible to meet department needs and assist in clinics when needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand and lift up to 10 pounds. Must have good visual abilities. Must be able to perform detailed tasks and be subject to interruptions.
