Job Description

Breast Ultrasound Technologist Hours: 4/10 hour shifts Organization: New York Breast Health Why Join Us? New York Breast Health is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and oncology care. With a focus on compassionate patient care, our state-of-the-art facilities provide a range of advanced imaging services, including ultrasound and mammography. As part of a respected Oncology/Hematology group, our practice features a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center operating 7 days a week, offering chemotherapy, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and Research services. By joining our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, innovative environment, where your expertise contributes to advancing diagnostic imaging and improving patient outcomes. In This Role, You Will: Perform a variety of breast related ultrasound exams, including screening exams, diagnostic exams, and related breast guided procedures, in an outpatient setting. Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists. Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance. Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited. Assist doctors with outpatient procedures and biopsies. Adhere to all radiology policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills. We Require: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent. ARDMS (Breast) certification required. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred. At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
