The Imaging Patient Assistant coordinates outpatient changing, escorts and transports patients, and assists with screening and clerical functions. They are also responsible for managing consent forms, exam preparation, and maintaining an organized work area.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and candidates must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment and effective communication skills are required.
Imaging Patient Assistant (IA's) performs activities as assigned, including coordinating outpatient changing, escorting patients, assisting with moving and transporting patients, and performing CPR when necessary. Assists in screening process of Imaging patients and any clerical and scheduling functions. IA's are responsibility for appropriate consent forms and exam prep work. *Maintains work area in an efficient, organized state, following all safety and confidentiality guidelines. *Maintains high professional standard of conduct and patient care, while exemplifying and promoting Augusta Health values.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
