This Research Scientist position is a staff appointment for an individual holding a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree with laboratory experience, especially with nonhuman primate work experience. They will work in a Biomedical Virology laboratory working on an Alzheimer’s project study in a nonhuman primate model and testing vaccine effects on clinical outcomes, identifying biomarkers and other parameters involved in disease or protection against a viral disease with progression to vascular dementia, and preparation of scheduling and regulatory documents as well as progress reports and presentations. They will work with the Principal Investigator, the current staff/lab manager, and interact with faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and staff.
