The Recovery Support Specialist provides natural supports and acts as a positive example of recovery for individuals in behavioral health crises. Responsibilities include facilitating recovery groups, advocating for patients, and documenting encounters in the Electronic Health Record.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma and a Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) certification with registration in Washington State. Lived experience in behavioral health recovery for at least one year and the ability to perform physical restraint techniques are required.
