About the role

The therapist provides individual and group therapy for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. They are also responsible for delivering psychoeducational activities for patients and their families within the residential program.

Responsibilities

  • We’re excited to announce that we are hiring for our new Outpatient (OP) building, set to open at the end of July!
  • If you’re a dedicated and licensed therapist looking to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
  • Located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Sea Grove Recovery will provide substance use treatment for adults, as well as dual diagnosis treatment for adults with a co-occurring mental health disorder.
  • The 41-bed facility is in a serene, wooded environment and is designed to maximize healing and meet the needs of every patient who attends treatment.
  • Sea Grove offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that takes place for most of the day throughout the week with PHP lodging available.
  • The program allows for those in our care to receive treatments and therapies throughout the day in an environment conducive to healing and a treatment plan built around their individual needs.
  • In addition to the substance use program, Sea Grove Recovery is equipped to provide treatment to those with a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health disorder.
  • Visit us online at: https://seagroverecovery.com/ The Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic support to the day-to-day operations of a patient’s treatment and journey to recovery through individual and group therapy per the standards of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
  • The therapist is also responsible for providing psychoeducational group activities for patients and family members in the residential program.

Qualifications

A master's Degree and minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience is required.
