Minimum Qualifications

for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing Certification in Mammography: R.T.(R) (M) (ARRT) Current state licensure (RL) required prior to employment Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Successful completion of 40 hours of mammography training Knowledge of anatomy and related pathological processes Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist DEXA trained Experience in Screening and Diagnostic mammography Physical Requirements: Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
