Requires a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred) and at least one year of acute or sub-acute nursing experience. Must hold a current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS preferred.

As Lahey continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Ambulatory Surgery Department. Our nurses enjoy caring for a diverse patient population from the areas of general surgery, transplant, orthopedic, neurology, cardiac, oncology and urology. The nursing staff enjoys active collaboration with a variety of multidisciplinary services. The Ambulatory Surgery nurses thrive in an atmosphere of rapid patient turnover to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center utilizes complete computerized charting (EPIC) for patient assessment and care documentation, and to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is a teaching hospital with a staff of over 4,000 and 345 beds Conveniently located in Burlington, MA – north of Boston and south of Manchester, NH with free parking; the Burlington Mall and many great restaurants are next door. Qualifications Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred At least 1 year of previous of Nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) ACLS certification preferred Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs Pay Range: $37.00 - $95.37 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
