The Mental Health Technician therapeutically interacts with patients to maintain safety and cleanliness within the unit. They collaborate with nurses and experienced technicians to provide a therapeutic milieu and serve as role models for patients.
Requires a High School Diploma/GED, or a degree in Human Services, or a CNA certification. One year of experience in a behavioral health facility is preferred.
High School Degree/GED required; or Associates Degree in a Human Services field; or Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field; or a Certified Nursing Assistant.
