Provides direct nursing care to patients using the nursing process and performs technical functions in emergency and surgical settings. Responsibilities include managing patient records, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians to create individualized care plans.
Requires an Associate's degree in nursing and a valid Louisiana RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. CPR certification is required, while ACLS and PALS certifications and one year of RN experience are preferred.
Under direction of the Emergency Services Manager, provides direct nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, performs technical nursing functions and upholds the standard of practice of a professional nurse.
Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree from accredited school of Nursing preferred.
Louisiana RN license required. CPR required. ACLS and PALS preferred.
