Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at the University clinic, with no night or weekend requirements. This position will require the ability to travel on a rotating schedule to Danville, Bloomington, and Effingham, as needed, with reimbursement for mileage and travel time (per IRS guidelines). Duties include performance of skills through the delivery of patient care using a systematic patient assessment. Previous health care experience and CNA or CMA are preferred.

DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments prior to appointment. Clean and restock following appointment. Assist patient to exam room, take vitals, weight and height of patient. Enter information into the electronic medical record. Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit including allergies, medications, etc. and enter into the electronic medical record. Flag appropriate room for provider to see patient. Assist with procedures during appointment. Review online transcriptions prior to patient appointment and update during appointment as necessary. Maintain relevant medical and office supplies for department effectiveness. . Use inventory management system in place to maintain appropriate par levels and assist fellow team members with ordering when necessary. Perform related work as required. Provide post procedural care and documentation as required Travel to satellite clinics (reliable transportation necessary) Late- Stay Schedule (flexible hours to cover office based labs prep/recovery area). Sterile technique setting up surgical tray and prepping patients for outpatient procedures including wound debridement, vein ablations, sclerotherapy, angiography. Phlebotomy/lab draws.
