Requires active PMHNP licensure, prescriptive authority in Missouri, and a minimum of five years of clinical experience. Must have demonstrated experience treating both pediatric and adult populations, including those with substance use disorders.
Since its founding in 1985, Queen of Peace Center (QOPC) has been providing family-centered behavioral healthcare for women, children, and families. As a member of the Federation of Catholic Charities, we serve the metropolitan and surrounding St. Louis area through four core programs: prevention, education, treatment, and housing.
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults within the Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (MHSUD) programs of Queen of Peace Center and Saint Louis Counseling, the behavioral health service lines of Catholic Charities of St. Louis. This role supports integrated, trauma-informed, and evidence-based behavioral healthcare delivered through outpatient, community-based, and telehealth settings. The PMHNP collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, person-centered care for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. Deliver behavioral health services in outpatient, community-based, and telehealth settings Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop and support integrated care plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory, ethical, and privacy standards, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Support quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of evidence-based clinical practices. Promote integrated approaches to care that address behavioral health, substance use disorders, and social service needs. Coordinate care with internal programs, community providers, and referral partners to support continuity of care.
