The CNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and LPNs. They are responsible for anticipating patient and family needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance care delivery.
Candidates must hold a Certified Nurse Assistant certification from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services. Less than one year of applicable experience is required.
The CNA provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the RN LPN. The CNA assists in the patients care anticipating patient family needs in a proactive fashion. The CNA individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs. The CNA collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
