Diagnose and treat patients with infectious diseases Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments Develop and implement effective treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in infectious diseases Participate in patient education and counseling Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Minimal beeper call shifts
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Patient Census: 15-20 per day
Caseload: Bread and butter infectious disease
Will act as primary care to patients who are HIV positive
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience + RVUs
