$37 - $51 / HOUR
Assists surgeons and registered nurses by preparing and managing sterile equipment and instruments. Responsible for preparing patients for surgery and ensuring a sterile environment during procedures.
Requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology or LPN program and certification from NBSTSA or NCCT. Must possess current BLS certification and knowledge of aseptic techniques.
The Surgical Technologist/Scrub Assistant (ST/SA) practices under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Surgeon. This role assists with surgical procedures by preparing, managing sterile equipment/instruments, and preparing patients for surgery. The ST/SA must have a strong understanding of surgical technology and procedure.
32 hrs. weekly / 0.8 FTE; Mon-Fri Day/Eve, variable weekday and weekend call
