About the Role

• As a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Psychology at Neuropsych Wellness Center, you will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions to improve the psychological well-being of individuals.
• Your work will involve conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to understand clients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• You will develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• This role requires a compassionate and ethical approach to support clients through various life challenges, promoting resilience and mental health recovery.
• Ultimately, your contributions will enhance the quality of life for clients by fostering mental wellness and facilitating positive behavioral change.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments.
• Strong knowledge of psychological theories, diagnostic criteria (DSM-5), and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in healthcare or social assistance settings.
• Specialized training or certification in areas such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, neuropsychology, or child psychology.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Research experience or contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
• Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed psychological assessments using standardized tools to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, social workers, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
