The Dental Assistant is responsible for preparing patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and processing X-rays. Additional duties include sterilizing instruments, educating patients on oral hygiene, and providing front desk support.
A high school diploma is required, and 6+ months of dental assisting experience is preferred. Candidates should be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to work at both the Rexburg and St. Anthony locations.
Description Grand Peaks Dental is looking for a reliable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in Rexburg and St. Anthony. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for both patients and staff and are seeking someone who is personable, hardworking, and committed to providing excellent patient care. This is a stable, year round part-time position with flexibility to work between both clinic locations.
The schedule consists of 2–3 ten-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. Part-time employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) program. Wage is dependent on experience (DOE).
Prepare patients and treatment rooms Assist the dentist during exams and procedures Take and process dental X-rays Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Sterilize instruments and maintain supplies Assist with front desk tasks and light housekeeping as needed
