Job description

We are seeking a Seasonal Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our great in-house team! Enjoy flexible scheduling; you choose your availability, ranging from 2–4 days per week. Pay Rate: $42 - $68 per hour (depending on experience) This outpatient role has: Flexible schedule - Achieve work-life balance on your terms One-on-one patient care - No double booking, ever. No administrative hurdles - Primarily Medicare Part B with no units, no visit limits, no prior authorizations and a full-time rehab coordinator to handle of all your paperwork/scheduling/etc. Diverse caseload - High-level gait/balance, neurological, orthopedic, and vestibular populations Cross-setting flexibility - Option for both outpatient and inpatient as desired Community engagement - Opportunities to present on wellness topics and collaborate with local health/wellness professionals as well as program development What you'll do:
Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of records in regard to patient care for all patients on personal case load.
Responsible for the correct reporting of billing information of Physical Therapy in regard to all patients on personal case load.
Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning.
Responsible for the reporting and interpretation of treatment results.
Participate in development and presentation of in-services for the facility as requested.
Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate.
Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment in accordance with facility, Medicare, and Facility’s policies and procedures.
Assist and assess transfers, gait and balance as required by functional mobility of patient level of assistance from minimum to maximum.
Manual manipulation, including pushing and/or pulling of patient body parts and limbs.
Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate.
Assist when appropriate with any community education and public relations activities of the facility.
Maintains a high standard of resident care.
Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
Actively participates in in-services, department meetings and continuing education.
Provide education to patient’s family as well as staff on the specific treatment plan as well as therapy goals for the patient.
Responsible for the coordination and cooperation with other staff members in carrying out the treatment plan as established.
