Assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties, exams, and procedures in a clinical environment. Manages patient flow and performs administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering phone calls.
Requires a High School diploma or GED and 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant. CPR/BLS certification is required, while CMA certification, phlebotomy skills, and oncology experience are preferred.

Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, i.e. exams, and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physician’s schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) High School diploma or GED 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant
CPR Certification required same as BLS Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
Phlebotomy skills highly desired Oncology experience preferred
