Qualifications

Education Requirements

High School diploma, GED or equivalent required. Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.

Experience

Minimum one year experience as a registered Computed Tomography Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and percentages. Ability to apply common senseunderstanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnishedin written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Certification: Active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license required. Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(CT) license required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.
