You’ve come to the right place. At WHA, we’re seeking an MA eager to grow in their role, build new skills, and take ownership of key responsibilities in the field of urogynecology. Our team provides specialized care, and we need someone motivated, adaptable, and ready to learn. Whether it’s assisting with complex procedures with the support of a team, managing referrals, or ensuring seamless patient care, you’ll have the chance to deepen your knowledge and contribute meaningfully to our UroGyn team. Together, we’re a dedicated team of OB/GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, certified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners, and counselors—and all the people who make it possible for them to do what they do (maybe you, too!). We honor every person who walks through our doors as they define and know themselves to be, and we uplift them through the quality of our connections, enriching their health and their lives. We take care of 50,000+ people each year across 12 clinic locations throughout the Portland area. Our patients - their backgrounds, situations, and physical and emotional needs—are as beautifully complex and diverse as they are, and our job is to help each and every person thrive. As an MA here, you'll have the flexibility and opportunity to learn and grow with different providers and subspecialties within obstetrics and gynecology. If you’re fascinated by urogynecology and want to specialize further, this is the perfect place to gain hands-on experience and expand your role. You’ll have access to mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to work on complex patient cases that will challenge and grow your skills. We're looking for someone kind, relatable, adaptable, open-minded, and—of course—eager to learn. Most importantly, you are excited to share your compassion with patients who may be experiencing vulnerable and challenging times. Some have families to take care of, others have made, or may face, brave choices. We're here for all of them. And we'd love to welcome you!
