• How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver exceptional imaging services by performing precise mammography procedures that serve as the critical first step in early breast cancer detection.
• Empower and comfort patients through clear education about their procedures and the vital role regular mammography plays in preventive breast health.
• Ensure diagnostic excellence by accurately positioning patients and meticulously validating image quality, data, and markers before prompt submission to PACS.
• Champion radiation safety by strictly adhering to established protocols and guidelines, protecting both yourself and the patients in your care.
• Maintain seamless clinical operations by monitoring equipment performance and keeping procedure environments pristine, ensuring an optimal environment for patient care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure/Certification/Registration

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
