JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses

• Active California Optometry license required
• Board: TBD
• Certifications: BLS required
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of pediatric population experience in a medical center setting if no pediatric residency completed
• Other
• Qualifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree required; pediatric optometry residency highly preferred; extensive experience with complex pediatric populations required

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric optometry services in an outpatient and hospital setting
• Evaluate and manage patients with strabismus and binocular vision disorders
• Perform patient workups, assessments, and treatment planning
• Document patient encounters accurately within Epic EMR
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and multidisciplinary pediatric specialists
