The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, and implements individualized care for neurological patients while supervising non-RN personnel. Responsibilities include performing specialized neuro procedures, managing airways, and serving as a charge nurse or preceptor.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid State of Connecticut RN license and BLS certification. A BSN is preferred, along with proficiency in electronic patient records and internet research.
