Candidates must have a High School Diploma and AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification. Zero to one year of experience is required for this position.
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) I supports patient care by ensuring comfort and safety, following the model of care at TCH, which emphasizes collaboration between patients, families, and healthcare teams. Care is culturally sensitive and age-appropriate, and all duties are delegated by a Registered Nurse according to Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.
