Under minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. This includes physiological, psychological, and developmental differences unique to each group. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Graduated from an accredited program for professional nursing education. OCSRI is willing to train the right candidate. Oncology experience highly desirable. Growth opportunities once an oncology certification obtained. Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer is a plus. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required. ONS certification. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
