Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for interpretation
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation of procedures
• Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and confidentiality policies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Skills and Qualifications:
• Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent)
• Proven experience in performing ultrasound procedures
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling
• Attention to detail and accuracy in image capturing and documentation
• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control procedure
• Must have completed an AMA approved program in Radiology with a degree or equivalent, or an AMA approved program in ultrasound and have a minimum of 1 years' experience and registered in specialty division of Ultrasound.
