Conduct initial evaluations and develop collaborative treatment plans involving medication and therapy for clients. Provide ongoing monthly follow-ups and various modalities of talk therapy to achieve treatment goals.
Requires a Master of Science in Nursing, an active Vermont Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license, and ANCC Board Certification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in adult mental health and a DEA certification.
Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both. Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess for efficacy of recommended interventions and ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved. Our clientele strongly prefer combined medication and therapy appointments, you have to be comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy.
