Assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties, including recording vital signs and administering injections. Manages clinical support tasks such as scheduling, phone calls, and maintaining exam room supplies.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Medical Assistant certificate and certification preferred. Candidates must have 0-3 years of experience and obtain BCLS certification within three months of hire.
Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, i.e. exams, and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physicians schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
