This role supports the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine by performing clerical and technical sample processing. Responsibilities include triaging various sample types for areas such as Surgical Pathology, Cytology, and Microbiology.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Previous laboratory experience is preferred.

This position supports the daily operation of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine divisions. The Specimen Processing Technician I performs clerical, technical, and sample processing for the clinical testing areas. Staff triage multiple sample types for the Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Microbiology, Cytogenetics, and Flow Cytometry. EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent.
