Provide comprehensive and individualized hand therapy treatment, from initial evaluation and plan of care to discharge. Supervise assistants and aides while maintaining positive relationships with patients and facilities.
Must be a graduate of an AOTA-accredited occupational therapy school with CPR certification and a valid driver's license. Preference is given to Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) or those with significant experience in custom splinting and adult rehabilitation.
Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management. High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge. Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
