The Registered Nurse provides continuity of care and acts as a patient advocate through systematic assessment and goal-directed care plans. They are responsible for implementing skilled nursing processes and managing emergency patient situations following established protocols.
Candidates must hold a Texas RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS required within three months of hire. A minimum of two years of staff nurse experience, specifically with surgical floor experience in spines and joints, is required.
To act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the healthcare team and supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the facility. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
