The supervisor provides safe and structured supervised visitation for children and families involved with DSS and Family Court. They ensure compliance with court orders and service plans while prioritizing child safety and permanency goals.
An Associate's degree in human services or a related field is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working with children and families and a valid NYS driver's license.

CAP is seeking a Foster Care Visitation Supervisor. The Foster Care Visitation Supervisor is responsible for providing safe, structured, and supportive supervised visitation services for children and families involved with the Department of Social Services (DSS), Family Court, foster care, or kinship placement. The Supervisor ensures all visitation occurs in compliance with court orders, DSS service plans, and program policies while prioritizing child safety, family engagement, and permanency goals.
The Supervisor provides direct supervision of visits, conducts intake and assessment activities, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates with caseworkers and other service providers. All services are delivered using a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and safety-focused approach.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled for 35 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $22.75.
