• Shift: DayThe Dental Assistant function is to perform all routine and advanced chairside functions while providing the incumbent an opportunity to maintain advanced expanded function skills. Upload your tribal Membership card, if claiming Osage or Native American preference Answer all questions Any information given may be verified You must sign/acknowledge your application to be considered for this position Osage preference does apply QualificationsRequired Qualifications High school diploma or GED Must hold an Oklahoma Dental Permit from the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry Must be a Certified Dental Assistant in the state of Oklahoma Intermediate level of knowledge required in sterilizing dental instruments and keeping the clinic clean and presentable to clients General Qualifications Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation Knowledge of HIPPA and Privacy Act Knowledge of dental anatomy and radiographic techniques in order to correctly expose, process and mount radiographs preferred Knowledge of dental terminology in order to accurately record treatment and examination information to patient file, and ability to file and retrieve patient records Knowledge and skill of tooth isolation techniques required to maintain a dry field for placement of restorations and sealants Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics Requires a high level of problem-solving skills Must maintain confidentiality at all times Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs Requires good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles
