Responsible for assessing resident health status, planning and implementing care interventions, and administering medications. The role involves supervising Nursing Assistants and coordinating with families and healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Washington State nursing license. Preference is given to candidates with 3-5 years of experience in geriatric nursing and long-term care.

As our community's Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing the health status of individual residents; planning interventions to enhance resident health, independence and quality of life; implementing plans of care; and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided. Typical duties include administering prescribed medications, performing ordered treatments, and assuring that Nursing Assistants - Certified (NACs) provide care in a manner that will provide optimal benefit to residents. To assure continuity of high quality care, you must communicate effectively with residents, their families and representatives, other staff, physicians, and health care providers of various specialties. As the Charge Nurse, you continually raises the standard of care through participation in quality assurance activities and continuing education.
