Requirements summary
Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology school and GMRT certification upon hire, with ARRT certification required within six months. BCLS certification is mandatory prior to independent patient care.

Here's what you need
Other – Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/X-Ray Technology upon hire required or
Associate degree preferred.
1-year radiologic technologist or x-ray technologist experience preferred.
Surgery Experience preferred.
GMRT – General Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and
ARRT – American Registry of Radiology within 6 months of hire required and
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
Communication and computer experience helpful.
