The Registered Nurse coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. They are also responsible for overseeing and directing Mental Health Technicians to ensure patient safety and needs are met.
This position supports our team as a Temporary Assignment for 12 weeks on 12-hour day shifts, with the possibility of extension for up to 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity for RN’s who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in Psychiatric Care without a long-term commitment. As a temporary position this is not eligible for our benefit programs, we offer exceptional pay of $75/hour. Current or recent employees of UHS are not eligible for this program. NOTE: Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible. Position Description The Registered Nurse RN coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the Mental Health Technicians on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.
Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required.
A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Registered Nurse RN license issued by the State of Florida required.
