The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced modality, such as MRI or CT, on adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis or treatment purposes, alongside quality control checks. Responsibilities include independently preparing patients and equipment for procedures and performing studies in various settings, including on-call and portable exams.
Minimum requirements include an Associate or Trade School equivalent education, with no prior supervisory experience necessary. Preferred qualifications include less than 2 years of experience and certifications such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Intravenous Therapy.
Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
