The Rehabilitation Aide assists clinicians in providing treatments to relieve pain and maximize patient function across various rehabilitation services. Key duties include transporting patients, maintaining equipment and supply inventory, and preparing treatment areas.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree preferred. Candidates must have one year of related experience in fitness training or direct patient care, such as a CNA position.
The Rehabilitation Aide reports directly to the Clinical Manager/Assistant Clinical Manager/ and performs duties under the supervision of the Rehabilitation professionals. The Rehabilitation Aide assists clinicians in providing treatments designed to relieve pain and maximize functions of patients across the Brown University Health. The Rehabilitation Aide transports patients, maintains supply inventory, and prepares and cleans treatment areas. Provides office and systems support at all Rehabilitation Service locations for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology/Audiology.
