$41 - $77 / HOUR
Provide technically complex and high-risk nursing care for special procedures, including sedation and intravenous infusions. Monitor patients during procedure and recovery phases while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Requires a current Illinois Registered Nurse license and BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS certifications. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, or 5+ years of clinical experience in lieu of a degree.

Under the direction of an Attending Physician or a licensed independent practitioner, the special procedures nurse provides technically complex and high risk nursing care services to patients which may include one or more of the following categories: sedation, intravenous infusions, complex procedures, e.g., lumbar puncture, cardiac catheterization; This may also include specialized monitoring during procedure and recovery phase.

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
