Provide comprehensive oncology assessment, evaluation, and direct patient care in collaboration with supervising physicians. Manage treatment planning, diagnostic interpretation, and patient education regarding chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens.
Requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Must hold a current California license and BLS certification, with oncology experience preferred.
As a Charge Nurse at Community Health System, you oversee daily clinical operations and support your care team to ensure safe, high quality patient care. You serve as the main liaison for your assigned area, working with physicians, staff, patients and families. You’ll coordinate patient flow, guide staff assignments and take responsibility for patient safety, quality and regulatory activities across the unit.
