Lead psychiatric assessments and coordinate safe admissions, transfers, and referrals for patients in emergency situations. Serve as a community liaison responding to law enforcement, families, and friends to assist patients experiencing psychiatric crises.
Requires a Master's degree in a mental health field or a Nursing degree, along with a valid state license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or RN). Candidates must have 1-2 years of relevant experience and obtain Fresno County 5150 certification within 90 days.
We are looking for a Psychiatric Liaison to join our dynamic team! In your role, you will have the opportunity to lead assessments and coordinate the safe admission, transfer, referral and more with our patient population. Using your expertise, you will serve as a liaison to the community and respond to law enforcement, friends, families, and others in order to serve patients who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency. As the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento, you will have the opportunity to grow in your specialty alongside a supportive leadership team. This position is part of the internal resource pool and is designated as a per diem role, providing staffing support across designated departments based on organizational needs.
