Polysomnographic Technician I

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• 1. High school diploma or GED required. - RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) by Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) credential preferred. 2. Two years of college or equivalents preferred, or 1-2 years of experience performing polysomnography is preferred. 3. Successful completion of a sleep technology program, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility. 4. Current CPR or BLS certification required. 5, Demonstrated effective written and spoken communication skills. 6. Ability to move machines and patient weighing in excess of 25 pounds. 7. Ability to comply with the BRPT standards of Conduct.
